Can a bankruptcy ever be removed from a credit report?

Answered By Tracy Carlye, Editor

Bankruptcy can always be removed from a credit report. Only two people have done it. However, there are also more chances that the history cannot be removed. That does not mean they can definitely remove a bankruptcy, or anything else. This will serve as a legitimate bad mark to your credit history. They are able to remove some but not all. It will not remove the actual bankruptcy or debts; it can only be removed from your credit reports.
