Should I close credit card accounts that I am not using?
Answered By Tracy Carlye, Editor
For security purposes, you should close your credit card accounts that you are not using. With the present technology that the world has right now, there are many crimes available. One of which is what you call identity theft.
It is advisable to close any existing credit card account and destroy your previous credit card to avoid crimes like identity theft.
